YouTube Hop

Today I'm participating in a YouTube Art Journal/Mixed-Media hop with 6 other talented artists.
Please come along and join in. I've made a step-by step video of how my project was created.

The theme was summer, and we had to incorporate fluorescent paint, so I created this fun canvas
using book paper, modelling paste, tissue paper, a stencil, paper flowers and lots of fluorescent colours.

I was very happy with the outome.

The sun was made using the Mini Mayan Stencil by Balzer Designs at Crafters Workshop and Modelling Paste

The girl was printed onto tissue paper from an image I found on the internet which I added to and adapted to my own requirements. I then glued this onto the canvas and re-coloured it with a black Faber Castelle PITT Artist Pen.

I used a stampset by Chocolate Baroque for the grass and some smaller random stamps for background detail.
